I attached the flowers to the vine after Row 1 so that I could better determine where I did and did not want to add leaves to the other side (Row 2); the finished product looks more organic when the leaves are not predictably placed and numbered out. Even smaller leaves were made and used a few times.
This pattern is not as easy and quick as it looks. The flowers take concentration and “tight quarters” hooking. I added slip stitches where needed but not called for at the end of the leaves to prevent gaps between leaves and vine.

I used stash yarn but needed to buy more for the vine/leaves.
