CO 10 stitches using waste yarn - provisional co with crochet hook (CO 4 separate sets of 10 stitches for each base square)

End at row: sl m1 k7 k2tog
Don’t mind the last 2 rows

For Row 2 first square- the stitch left on needle counts as part of the 10 you have to pickup.

Also, I picked up from behind (the RS) so that the seam is in the WS.

ERRATUM at Left edge triangle:
Delete the 4th to last line - sl1, k to 2 from end, k2tog
Last row: sl 1 and put back on left needle, k2tog

Will whipstitch tomorrow.

With right sides facing each other - whipstitch sides of bag.

Turn right side out

HANDLE
At seam - pick up 10 stitches on the square with no live stitches. (Near the cut yarn)

After the top is complete, k5 and pm
Knit 1.5 inches (9 rows)
Make handle holes using Ysolda buttonhole technique

Garter rows 2 inches (14 rows)
Regular BO

I plan to add a bag lining.
