Well I made a start but the pattern isn’t too well written so I’m probably going to undo what I’ve done and rewrite or chart the pattern again so it’s easier for me to follow. Thanks so much to GingerKid1984 for very useful project notes.
Hoping to have 2 sets of these completed in the next few weeks.
July 16th
Knitting complete.
I started knitting icords but before completing one I undid it and decided to make twisted cords as they’re so much quicker to make. The pattern sizes for the cords was too long but I didn’t have time to cut them before these photos. Now considerably shorter.
Also eventually got round to sewing a strip of reinforcement tape (black grosgrain ribbon) at the bottom where the poppers will be placed. Poppers then added.
My notes (maybe useful if you’re knitting size 12 months):
Cast on 39 sts
Following 12 month pattern (babies 8 months old in photos) and began increasing after row 6
Feel like then I can add extra rows later if necc.
