Knitted using 3 strands of fingering weight yarn (2 pale pink Yeoman Panama, 1 raspberry Yeoman Panama)
On hold because the raspberry yarn is out of stock! (Actually I think the Yeoman Panama yarn is now discontinued.)
Found a bit more yarn to finish the jacket but no more red for the trim so a pale pink trim it will be!
I decided to use the Romanian Double Crochet cord for the trim. Unfortunately I don’t have yarn for a couple of pockets which I’d planned on making. Hoping to get this finished soon as its been on the back burner for so long now. Last time I tried it on I was wondering whether to shorten the sleeves. If I do perhaps I could make pockets….decisions decisions!
Trim - 2 strands of pale pink yarn
5.5mm hook
This is the fourth version of this jacket. All 4 have been knitted flat in linen stitch and follow the same basic pattern and construction. The first version, flat pack, was the longest and the only one to feature a collar. The second, flat pack 2,was shorter than the original and had a deeper armhole resulting in wider sleeves. It also featured some topstitch embroidery around the bottom of the jacket. The third, flat pack 3, was slightly cropped and featured different yarn combinations to highlight the linen stitch pattern
