11-9-14: I finished! I worked extra rows in the body and hood because this girl’s getting so tall! I did the ‘YO and K2TOG’ thing for button holes about six stitches apart. Sweater Girl got to pick out the buttons--they’re black cats from The Yarn Mart.

Now I just have to make this for her baby cousin….

12-2014: I made the baby version a little more straightforwardly. The recipient was pretty indifferent, but his mom was thrilled!
