Had to go up to a size 10 to get 18sts in 4”. I don’t think I knit tight. Odd. Maybe my yarn is a bit thinner than it should be.

Well, I had to change the rating of the yarn from 5 stars to 2. The first impression is incredible. The yarn is squishy, softer than soft and quite reasonably priced. HOWEVER, it’s pilling horribly. I’ve worn the sweater maybe a half dozen times and I’m picking little balls off of it already. We’re not even talking halo, which I could live with. It’s still a pretty sweater, but the yarn is a really disappointing. I really question the 5 star average rating and would like to hear what others have to say about finished items. This yarn just isn’t holding up and my February Lady looks like it was knit decades ago.

Love the pattern and it was a fun knit. Go to the forums for info on the eyelet increases. If you try to figure them out in your head you will surely go mad. A fun item to knit!

My advice: spend a little more on a higher quality yarn.
