Notes

Natasja Hornby always manages to surprise me with her designs, whether it’s a new technique, a unique knitting construction, or simply a source of inspiration.

Phoebe is a wrap sweater that I’m excited to test.

Since this is a summer project for me, I chose the yarn accordingly. I’m using a new yarn for me from Majo Garn—it’s made of linen and cotton, but it’s softened with alpaca and a touch of merino. It’s surprisingly pleasant to knit with and doesn’t hurt my hands.

The Phoebe wrap is knitted from the top down. A major advantage is that the trim is knitted at the same time as the body. The pattern itself isn’t complicated, as it consists of only four basic rows. Of course, increasing and decreasing require a bit more attention. However, even the more complicated parts are explained very well in the pattern, and explanatory photos are also included.

The only thing I did differently was that I left out the side decreases.
The fit is excellent.

The model in the photos was, once again, my lovely daughter.
