Mine, mine, MIIIINE!!! Bwa ha haaa!

June 2: done most of the body and about half of one sleeve. LOTS of customization going on here - I did a ton of waist and bust shaping to accomodate my… um… PEAR shape. Damn you kids, you did this to me!

I also decided to add a twisted stockinette elbow reinforcement “patch”. And I’ve decided to put birds in the yoke instead of mushrooms. Guess I’ll have to change the name of the sweater.

ETA: Lost my copy of KWT. Had to put the whole thing on hold while I turned the house upside-down to find it. To no avail. Amazon to the rescue, and we’re back on as of June 24th!

July 7: Changed the yoke pattern yet again. Trying to carry a strand across 18 stitches is not a good idea. Using the chart from the Squirrel and Oak Mittens instead.

August 24: Well, maybe not TOTALLY finished. I need to add the bottom border and block it. But I LOOOOOVE it! So, so much. The custom fit was worth all the math.

I ended up adding the mushrooms in the end, using the chart from the Mushroom Pulse Warmers.

Also, I now have a SHITLOAD of purple yarn left over. I bought 6 skeins of the main colour after looking at other projects that used Cascade 220, and yeah… way too much yarn. I guess this year everyone’s getting purple hats for Christmas!

ETA: I lied. I used 5 skeins of the main colour. I have no justification for my error.
