9/4/24
Cast on first clue. First time in quite awhile that I’ve needed to do a 4 stitch circular cast on. Talk about fiddly! Tried regular cast on and moved to dp’s. Wrestled for awhile then tried Emily Ocker’s and still had issues. Finally, after sitting at a table and switching back to dp’s, got going and finished the first part of the first clue!

Finished the first clue before the second clues release! Yay me!
I wonder where this is going.

9/12/24
Still working on clue 2. No issues, it’s just taking me a long time. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to frog because I did the increases on the decrease round. At least I usually realize before I get to the end of the round and don’t have to frog much.
I’m loving the pattern so far. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
The yarn is lovely, can’t say enough about the feel and color.

9/16/24
Finished clue 2. Took me what seemed like forever. I couldn’t develop a rhythm, but I got it done. Not perfect but I’m pretty sure you won’t notice on the finished gnome.

Started clue 3 and it’s coming along nicely. Definite rhythm to this knitting.

9/25/24 Finished clue 3, onto clue 4!

Finished clue 4 and stared on clue 5. Almost done with the beard!
