• To reduce the number of ends to weave in, I changed colors in the middle of Row 1 of the Heel turn section as follows: Worked instep sts + 1 st from gusset in MC, then completed row in CC (remaining 12 gusset sts + heel sts). The last stitch of the Heel flap section should be adjacent to the last MC stitch worked at the beginning of the Heel turn section, so the MC does not need to be cut.
