Exciting test knit! Well explained and detailed pattern with cool possibilities to go colorful (and stashbust). The last part, the waves in the border, were such a surprise for me. Knitted on 4er needles with mainly merino.

PATTERN: Well written and detailed pattern that took me through several techniques I never used before (kw2, brioche, stacked stitches, …). Absolute need for a row counter (or other method of keeping track). I changed the colors only when color changes were in the project, but instead of just C2 and C3 I had many contrast colors. Quite cool, the WS is not so visible b/c of the smart choices of first rows in another color.
And then comes the last part, those waves in the border. I have never knitted something like it and while knitting them was constantly wondering how this could possibly turn out right … and then they came to life, so cool!

YARN: The speckled Katia Craft yarn is the center that was supposed to hold all the other colors together. I had a ball that I had used only a little, and got lucky to catch the last one in the store. All the rest is stashbusting with colors matching the speckles - and finally gives the FO a much more colored aspect than I expected. I think this has more of a party - hippie - holidays flair than serious business attire, but that’s great, too. I ribbed the project out from early Body 2 twice because of color choices.
