May 3, 2011 As I cast on, I’m not sure what to make of the notes other Ravelers have left on this. No one seemed to get the gauge. But I figure if I can at least match the stitch count, I can always add rows to get the length I want. I decided to use size 1 24” circulars for the garter band and size 4’s as recommended for the body.

May 23- I ripped whole thing and am starting over with smallest size and tighter knitting. It was just way too balloon-y, and I’m not one to fear loose clothing!

July 12 - finally done. It’s okay. I mean I knew it was an unusual knit and not meant to be form fitting ( it’s obvious on the model) so I’m not surprised. When i wear it I feel like there’s a 1920’s waif vibe going on. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it won’t be garnering any favorites.
