July 8 - tried it on (whew, it fits!) and got photos. weighed the leftovers. attempted to reconstruct what I did. My finished sweater measures 38-1/2” at the bust (5” ease) and 12” from underarm to cast-on edge. I planned it to be 41” across and ~10.5”. I followed the pattern as written thinking my row gauge was 9.5 rows/in (blocked it’s more like 8.5) so the armholes are also a bit deeper than the schematic - clearly I didn’t block very well … BUT I love the way it fits so all good. I LOVE all the short row shaping - and the cap sleeve is perfection! and the decreases on the top of the sleeve just before the bindoff might be my favorite part of the whole sweater.

July 7 - Note to self: please remember to start a project page here when you cast on! I’ve now finished this … just need to try it on and take some photos! (and hope I made notes on the pattern about what size needles I used, how much yarn I used, my gauge, … yikes!)
