The only time I have knit moibus before is when I’ve accidentally twisted my stitches when casting on ! I was surprised to learn that there is a preferred cast on ( which is identical to a provisional cast on over waste yarn)

This pattern is very good, and contains links to you tube clips that help along with techniques. The cast on was a fiddle, and the first few rows a bit of a challenge because well - New.

Once the cast on is mastered and the pattern established it is a hypnotising and enjoyable knit. It is a perfect pattern for breaking up the colours in Rios yarn.

I cast on 100 stitches, and only worked 10 rows per segment in order to achieve 4 complete segments in the finished cowl.
