I knitted this without the border for 2 reasons - one, I want to wear it as a scarf and thought the edge was a bit frilly for me, and two, I didn’t like the way the border looks as it goes round the corners. I made something simple up to create the ends.

I enjoyed using beads so much in my last project (granny smith cardigan) that I decided to use a few beads on this one as well.

Love the pattern.

By the time I finished knitting I was ready to eat my own head, but blocking worked its wonders as usual and made it all worthwhile.

The yarn is beautiful by the way. This would be my first go too lace yarn (ahead kidsilk haze even!) if it weren’t for the (IMO) crappy colour selection.
