Need two adult hats for Christmas. The timing was perfect.

I put a crease line in the middle of the ribbing.
At the 2 1/2” mark, purl one round.
At the end of the round w & t and continue with ribbing in order to put the crease line on the outside of the right side of the ribbing. Otherwise it would fold the wrong way.

So basically the right side of the work switched at the mid mark of the ribbing..I hope that makes sense.
