Used 4mm needles. Knitting this in the round to avoid centre back and neck seams.

16/8/13 - Finished apart from sewing on the button, but the fronts have come much wider than the back (see second photo - rear view), and this will mean that the garment will be extremely baggy and the button likely to come undone. In general it’s too big for age 1-2.

I’m not happy with the ratio of the size of the back section and the front sections/length of the frills. My choice is either to undo some of the rounds, or maybe I’ll just frog the whole thing and knit a standard construction cardigan. Disappointing…..

11/9/13 - Well I’ve had to revise my comments slightly. Although it’s come much too big, it fits my other niece age 3, and now I’ve sewn the button on, it does look gorgeous. However, because of the sizing problems, I won’t be making the pattern again.
