Notes

I adore the many fabulous patterns at Purl Bee. They are written so well and with so much detail, they make you feel that you can try anything and be successful your first time out. This great throw from the Purl Bee Newsletter would be luxurious and fabulous in the super bulky yarn the pattern calls for. But since I’m currently stash busting, and this is a wash & dry blanket for a two-year-old, the admittedly nice and soft Canadiana worsted tucked in the back of my closet came to mind. This young man is traveling a lot by plane right now and I want him to have his own warm, comfy blanket for long hours spent way up in the chilly night sky. Held worsted 6 strands together for blanket, 3 strands together for attached I-cord.
Using US 35 circs for blanket; Size 15 DPNs for attached I-cord.
