The Universal yarn is nice and very soft. The Artfibers cotton is a beautiful color - a slight bit coarser, but still very soft and lovely for a facecloth. I held the Kite double.
Changed to cast on 55 and followed modifications of rows 3 and 4 for symmetry as per SuzanneB116. I also added 2 seed stitches per border side, so my total cast on was 59 stitches. I knit 5 rows of seed stitch at the beginning bottom and then top end of the cloth. For a neater edge, I slipped the first stitch as if to purl, purled the second stitch, then K,P,K for the edge. At the end of the row, K,P,K,P2.
