Notes

This is an experiment. Inspired by the other fractal patterns on Ravelry, I decided to make my own.

It’s based on the simple folding fractal and anyone can make their own using squared paper and just halving the lines. I did it with 16 squares but I’ll probably also upload mine.

My first attempt used floats on the back but that came out pretty uneven. This is now a double knitting scarf.

What I did:
Using the invisible cast on (https://youtu.be/Y5oi2fknnH0), I CO 25 stitch pairs (=50 stitches) with my main color on top, then I twisted the yarn and CO another 25 stitch pairs with the contrasting color on top (50 stitch pairs = 100 stitches in total).

Knit the first row as the stitches are presented to you in the cast on. Then follow the pattern.

Finally finished. Ran out of yarn towards the end and had to improvise a new ending. 2 balls were slightly not enough or should have skipped one repeat
