I really loved the idea of a baby size version of this blanket think 32x32. 9 squares total. My plan was to to use as many leftover and stash colors with a white main color. Because I had the intention of using up half and quarter skeins I made three multi color pinwheels 2 had two contrasting colors 1 had 4 contrasting colors because dictated by my yardage available.

I failed on making this a 100% stash busting project because I did purchase a couple mini skeins to round out my red and apple green pinwheels. I also purchased a lighter blue and blue green just because I was looking for more muted tones in my blue green section and I liked the idea of that better.

The short rows on this are really fun so it goes really fast. I wove in ends while I went and broke up the sewing so at the end I had minimal ends to weave in and minimal sewing.

I added an icord edge around my blanket in a contrasting dark blue (Azul profundo).
