I used addi circulars for these socks, and they are sized differently than others. I actually used 2.50mm (US 1.5) for the main part of the sock and then 3.0mm (US 2.5) for the leg.

Finished 2nd sock and wove in all loose ends. Used the Super Stretchy BO, which fits my leg well. Yay! Love them!

Finished 1st sock with Jeny’s Super Stretchy BO using US 2s. Not real crazy about how Jeny’s technique looks. So I switched the BO to the Super Stretchy Bind Off, which is also called the Pembroke Scarf Bind Off. Everyone renames a technique when they think they’ve come up with something new, when in fact it exists under an older name.

Started 2nd sock at the toe at least 4 times before I got it right… because I didn’t write down how many CO sts for the 1st sock.

On the 1st leg now, which I’m doing in k6, p2 rib. I figured out that I can use the next size larger needle to increase the width of the leg without increasing the number of stitches. Dah! So I’m using US 2 to knit the leg after using US 1 for the first 1.25” past finishing the heel. The first 6 rows past the heel were used to decrease the gusset back to 56 sts. Then I switched to the leg pattern in US 1 for 6 rows. Then I continued in the leg pattern using US 2.
Plan for the future: Knit the toes and heels dense so that they wear well; and then loosen the gauge on the foot so it fits over my instep by using the next size larger needles. Another Dah! There are lots of ways to fit socks!

I’m redoing the 1st heel for the 3rd time to get it right. I added a mini gusset for the first time with a Fish Lips Kiss heel, so it’s throwing the whole length off by adding additional rows from the additional 3x2 stitches. Once I get it right, this stitch and row count will work for all my Kroy yarn socks.
Turkish CO 28 sts (14 on each side) on US 1.
Toe- Inc to 56 sts (28 on each side).
Foot- 6.25” from start of the toe to start of mini gusset.
Leg- 6.5” long from end of mini gusset to BO.
I love the feel of this yarn. It’s so soft and spongy. It calls for US 3 needles, but I’m using US 1 to tighten the gauge so that the toes and heels wear well.
