Cast on a multiple of 2 stitches.
Rounds 1 and 2. With Color A (Yellow), knit.
Round 3. With Color B (Violet), knit 1, slip 1. (Slip as if to purl, with yarn in back.)
Round 4. With Color B, knit.

Inc to 72 sts
Start slip-stitch pattern - Inc 4 stitches

Knit even 5.25” 10 repeats of pattern + 1 round
Inc 18 sts each side for gusset

Heel: 18 - 13 - 6 - 6 - 13 - 18
Slip stitch heel flap

Leg: 21 reps + 2 rounds. Change colors
Knit one round,
Then 1x1 ribbing -total of 16 rds (including plain one) in purple. Cast off using interlock bind off.
