Notes

3/5/15 - starting on tail today after doing quick refresher of crochet stitches via YouTube. This tail is all half dbl crochets. Directions not very clear, like whether you are to chain 2 before turning work. (no).

This is commissioned work -will be a baby gift that Corinne plans to give in May.

The yarn is acrylic, very soft and has a really pretty sheen, perfect for a mermaid right from the sea. But seems like it would split easily.

3/7/15 - using a larger needle than called for and it’s still very small…even though my gauge is correct…so will keep at these HDCs until it gets to where it looks like a babe could get in there…will be very glad to get this endless part finished.

4/3/15 - remade the tail & today will make a second bra. Want this to be perfect but it’s hard to figure size for baby still in the womb.

4/10/15 - this took forever, I ended up making each piece twice, the first time to figure out the pattern & the second to make it look better. This is a baby gift and I also made the baby flip flops with a Whistle & Ivy pattern.

BTW, I hate ithis yarn. It splits like crazy so it is difficult to use for crochet.
