Picked this up again & starting over—need something easy & mindless to do while I listen to a bunch of short stories for a creative writing class “Speculative Fiction: Beyond Reality.” Classic Ribbed Hat sounds just perfect-+adult medium, thick stripes.

Original attempt with Brightly pattern:

25Sep19: had to fiddle quite a bit to get right gauge. Size 7 needles and a loose hand with the floats got the closest.

Didn’t get enthused with this combo.

Bjayzi combines 2 yarns of different weights, so would need to find another for each.

Started out using TechKnitting’s method for jobless stripes (1st stitch of new color row in old color) for first 8 color changes.
Changed to Purl Soho method (slip 1st st of 2nd row of new color) from 9th color change to end.
