Notes

My go-to travel project deserves a project page!

18-03-2019

Knitted on in Quebec, California, Ohio, Oregon, Wisconsin, Washington.

If airports count, then also Ontario and Michigan and Illinois.

13-08-2019

I have to be more than half done since I attached the second ball of yarn on the flight west…

Notes for fit:

I think I made the garter triangle a bit larger than called for (didn’t really measure, just waited until I could get it over my head with a good bit of ease to join in the round).

If I were to make it again (and I’ll need some time off, it was so long but enjoyable with the luxury yarn I let myself get), I would rethink the increases. Before I blocked it I was a little unhappy with the shape (barely fit over my shoulders) but the yarn I used stretched out really well in blocking.

I’d likely shift the increase rate a bit and maybe knit “straight,” a bit more at the end to get something that fits over my shoulders better without also nearly dragging on the ground (but I’m also short…) but overall even without major adjustments I like it.

The hardest part was knitting and not really having any idea of how it would fit until it was finished!
