I don’t have a baby to knit the surprise jacket for, so I had to size it up to fit a child. First I knitted a half-size version to figure out the construction. Then I took measurement on my daughter and altered the number of stitches for fitting. The problem was the number of stitches in the centre section that I calculated wrong. So the jacket turned out to be too small.

Despite the frogged project, I was happy with the half-size version. It is a little cute doll jacket.
