Testing a new blanket square for Helen Shrimpton. Helen’s large squares (20 inches using dk or 24 using worsted) are designed to work together with several of her other blankets. Want to change the look, just use a different large square. They are made to fit perfectly. My plan is to continue using one of her patterns called Continuum. We have a new grandson coming in the fall, and it will make a beautiful little boy blanket.
NOTE… The yarn Loops and Thread Kai I used has been discontinued. Any bright blue of the same weight would work great!

Because of all the ruffles and popcorn stitches, I chose to do this in dk yarn.

The center of this is so great. Ruffle stitches to form a center square.
