This was a super fun and pretty fast project. It was popcorn-y because the colors changed opposite the stitch patterns and there was shaping.

Teal: appears I started w/three skeins, 3.5 oz each, so 10.5 oz. Ended up with 3.5 oz left, so used 7 oz (or 2 skeins). 194 yds/skn x 2 = 388 yds for knit meter. (Really? Doesn’t look like 2 full skeins in the pictures.) Have had in stash for years.

White: the cake I ended up with is not much smaller than the one I started with. It weighs 1.5 oz, so must have used less than an ounce. Lets say 10 yards for knitmeter. Was a left over from a JYF knit a couple years ago.

Blue: also a left over from (the same) JFY knit and also a Spectra (West’s pattern), Spectra (my project). Appears to be none left over, but that would surprise me as the cake was giant. Guess 20 yards for knitmeter.

Multi: This is where the magic really happened in this project. The every changing colors melded so well together! This was purchased for my Spectra and I have over 5 oz left. No idea how much I started with tho’! Let’s estimate same amount of this yarn as the teal - likely this is an underestimate. So 388 yds for knitmeter.

388 + 10 + 20 + 388 = 806 total yds for knitmeter.
