Probably should have gone down to size 3 needles for the body of the hat for a less dramatic fit.

going to attempt to lightly block but not sure this yarn will agree with that. Otherwise love the fabric this made and it was a really fun knit!

Bit the bullet and frogged everything but the icord to start over with proper gauge. Already happier.

SO. much better went I went down to a size 2 needle. need to block, but super happy with my beret now.
