Notes

During Blues Night on January 25th, I noticed that one of the bassists kept rubbing his hands together because they were so cold. I pulled up Cigar on my iPhone and told him that he “needed a pair like these.” His response? “Oh!! Would you make me those? I’ll pay you for your trouble.” I had never made gloves before, so I am up for the challenge!

29th-Jan:
Cast on with Therapi (raisin colorway) with favorite long-tail technique and did one round of K2P2. Switching to grey Love, I knit one round, then K2P2 15 rounds to make 3 inches in length.

31st- Jan:
I realized that while I was making the gloves, if I made the fingers full length, he would not be able to play. So the “cut” fingers are for his strumming hand while the open hand enables him to stretch his fingers on the bridge.
