This is my attempt at making a mini of my Maggie May. I used bits of PlanetJune’s AmiDogs patterns with my own adaptations. Patterns I used/consulted include:

Mini Schnauzer (adapted body, eyebrows)
Boston Terrier (snout)
Chihuahua (adapted legs, tail)
Pug (adapted ears)

Mags was my severely abused/neglected foster who I ended up adopting for the last 3 years of her life. She had a long, hunched back and nearly lost her back right leg from her injuries so it splayed out oddly and caused a limp. I think she was mostly Shih-Tzu, and my vet thinks she was likely near 20 years old when she died.

I made her adopted brother Oliver, a golden doodle, long ago by adapting June’s Labrador pattern, but I was hesitant to try to do justice to Mags. I recently put Ami-Ollie in a special display case and decided he really needs his sis with him. I’m pretty happy with my little survivor Mags now that I’ve finally done it.

There were some tears shed and a lot of love in this one.
