This was a fun and fascinating pattern. It was easy to follow and easy to customize. Martina never disappoints! I was determined to give this hat a deep folded brim and I did… perhaps a bit too much. But it will be perfect for those winter days when I am outside shoveling and need to be warm.

Noro Kureyon is not the easiest yarn to knit with on smaller than suggested needles but it was worth it. The finished fabric is very thick. The colors are amazing. This pattern highlights the colors and color changes beautifully….and surprisingly, it looks like a different hat each time I turn it on my head. :)

My only modification was to do a Kitchener stitch bind off at the end rather than the suggested three needle bind off. I wanted to keep the hat reversible.
