Notes

I was asked to knit a bunny to celebrate the christening of a very special baby girl, Junia. She is German but will soon move to the US. Her godmother requested a bunny and asked if we could represent the colors of both flags on the dress.

I decided to go with a “folk art” design that incorporated all the colors in a subtle way.

I used a long tail cast on of 96 stitches, 12 repeats of the chart shown and followed my usual modifications found here

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm needles with Sublime Extra fine merino DK in caramel.
