Notes

A sweet pink dress finished with a white crochet peter pan collar and tiny sheep along the hem.

I used a long tail cast on of 91 stitches, and did 13 repeats of the chart pictured on the left. The first 5 rows are garter stitch done on straight needles before joining in the round on row 6. The long tail cast on is row 1. When I separated for the back opening on row 25, I knit the first two stitches together to reduce the total stitch count to 90. This makes it easier to reduce to 36 stitches in the next two rows. I followed my usual dress modifications found here using the reduction given for 90 stitches.

Three colors must be carried when working the sheep heads in this pattern….but only for two rows.

And I must say, this Knit Picks Palette Blossom Heather is my favorite pink yarn. So much variation and depth…from pale pinks to darker pinks with faint whispers of pale purple, yellow and orange here and there. Absolutely amazing and so lovely.

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm neeedles using Sublime extra fine merino DK in caramel.
