This dress has so many possibilities. I wanted a winter color work design that could change as winter changes…celebrating both the holidays and winter snow. I’ve yet to try a two color version such as white on red or gray.

Two charts are provided. Both are the same but the first one shows where I added a third color in three rows of the design. That is the chart I used for the dresses shown here.

I used a long tail cast on of 96 stitches, and did 8 repeats of the chart pictured on the left. I followed my usual dress modifications found here The first 5 rows are garter stitch done on straight needles before joining in the round on row 6. The long tail cast on is row 1.

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm neeedles using Sublime extra fine merino DK in caramel.
