These bunnies were made to sit in two special Easter baskets. 108 stitches were cast on with a thinner fingering weight yarn for the full skirts. The fuller skirt was made following my usual seasonal dress modifications found here.

The chart for the dresses is shown on the left. For a regular weight fingering, a cast on of 96 which uses 8 repeats of the 12 stitch pattern would work best. The first six rows of the chart are garter stitch done on straight needles to create a three garter ridge hem. (Two rows of garter stitch create one garter ridge.) The cast on row counts as rows one and two of the chart. See my hem tips here .

The dress is joined in the round on row 9 of the chart. I use HiyaHiya 12 inch circular needles for all the color work up to the decreases in the two rows before the waist. The decreases for the waist on these dresses (row 26 of the seasonal dresses pattern) began on row 30 of the chart shown. It is always best to measure the dress on the bunny in case you wish to skip the last three rows of the color work pattern near the waist and decrease sooner for a shorter skirt.

The sweaters were knit with Knit Picks Comfy
Fingering in Lilac on 2.75mm needles using the poppy cardigan pattern(see link above).

The bunnies were knit on 2.75mm needles using Filatura di Crosa Zara yarn in 1773 Latte.
