Notes

I wanted to embroider flowers rather than knit them on this dress. First I knit the entire dress. The knitting chart can found on the left. Row one of the chart is the cast on row. Starting with straight needles, I used a long tail cast on of 96 stitches(rows one and two of the chart…see tips for a neat garter stitch hem found here) and knit 2 rows to create a garter stitch hem. I joined to knit in the round on row 5. I followed my usual dress modifications found here

Next, I embroidered the wavy stem first, added leaves then the flowers.

The madelinetosh yarn with its subtle colors was perfect for this project. Love those madelinetosh unicorn tails!

The bunny was knit on 2.75 needles using Filatura di Crosa yarn in Latte 1773.

PS-if you look closely at the last picture, my cat, Voodoo Nellie, makes an appearance on the other side of the door between the bunny’s ears. Way to photo bomb, Voodoo!!!
