A flock of sheep on a snowy winter’s night…with some festive EWEltide flair. And one little sheep is extra warm with his red knit hat.

I used a long tail cast on of 96 stitches, and did 12 repeats of the chart pictured on the left (single sheep 8 stitch chart). I followed my usual dress modifications found here When the dress was done I chose one sheep to wear the hat, in this case the sheep to the left of the dress center. I used duplicate stitch for the hat( see chart with. Hat) but rather than using two white stitches for the pom pom, I used a single ply of fingering weight yarn and stitched a small “star”.

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm neeedles using Sublime extra fine merino DK in caramel.
