Notes

My friend Lauren, for whom I previously made the Rheinlust shawl. She has a very cobalt blue dress that she really likes to wear, so I wanted to make a matching shawl.

I also wanted to make it from cotton, because I’ve never used cotton before and because that would make it lighter and more summer-appropriate. I found this cotton/linen yarn while visiting another friend in Montreal.

I’m nearly done! I originally set my sights on the smaller size for this pattern, because I only had just over 500 yards. But it looks like I’ll have enough to make the larger size … so why not!

Finished! It looks great! Just need to wash/wet block it.
