With some leftover yarn from my previous slipper project and my bestie’s birthday coming up, what else was I to do?

Ran out of the Malabrigo just 3 rows shy of finishing the second slipper! So I used some other yarn from my stash, then carefully ripped out the last 3 rows of the first slipper. The things we do to get a match.

As with my slippers, I added soles from yarn.com to these.

I’m happy in general with the slippers, but honestly I probably could have done better, particularly with sewing on the soles. January was a weird month, and I ended up procrastinating on knitting in a way I usually don’t. As a result, I was rushing to finish these in time to send them to Rebecca.

Totally cute though.
