Gifted for Christmas.

13.3g gray used
3.2g pink used (probably less than this because there was some trial & error)
Black Rios used for nose

9.75” total length
4.75” width at widest point
1.75” long head (2” if including nose)
4.75” long body
3” long tail
1” long limbs

Mods:

For head, joined black yarn for nose and used VPK weaving in ends as you go starting with last K1 on Rnd 16 (I numbered the rnds myself as the pattern does not).

For body, increased up to 29 sts and knit 13 rows before beginning decreases.

For all legs, on the 2nd leg after BO, I treated as an inc rnd as I went across after binding off. I just CO the 6 gray sts. Later I went back and PU 2 sts at the tip of each leg and knit 2 rnds i-cord incl PU rnd. Then BO and wove in ends as best I could.

For tail, after decreasing to 5 sts, next row K2tog, K1, K2tog. 3 sts remain. Begin i-cord knitting w/gray & pink 1st rnd. Rnds 2-28 pink only and pull end through to close.

Ears
CO 6 sts & join in the rnd.
Rnd 1: (KFB, K1, KFB) twice (10 sts)
Rnd 2-3: K
3-needle BO, leaving 8-10” tail to attach ears to head.
After attaching ears to head, I did pink duplicate stitch in centers of ears.

Not thrilled with the acrylic yarn as far as the quality/texture but the color was right and it worked well in this particular application. It almost got a felted appearance the more I worked with it and was weaving ends in.
