if ever there was a ‘happy knit’ this just might be it ~ just what I need right now

yarn from a good friend, a gift for our goddaughter and well, green…which always makes me smile :)

project notes:

• highly recommend pattern ~ very quick, minimal finishing work, lots of different sizes included so I’ll use it again for sure, great instructions & I used exactly the same yardage as listed for the size I made (that never happens!) ~ I made the 2-3yr old & used 79g of yarn (206yds)

• I really love the nubby summer tweed by Rowan although it’s a little hard on my hands (probably the cotton?) ~ this was the first time I haven’t found knots in this type of yarn…didn’t have a single knot in either skein I used…pleasant surprise

• the only modification I did was when picking up stitches along the front raglans, I knit the 1st st I picked up on the back of garment tbl and also the 1st st of right front tbl (just to tighten that loose join on either side)
