This doll was conceptualized on 9 December 2018, and supplies were procured the next day before work began. Inspiration comes from the Season 1 Episode 11 “Promise” of Netflix’ reboot of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

The hair is made up of 148 individual cones ranging in length from 22 rows to 8 rows. It is so heavy that I had to create a spinal structure inside the doll. There is a jumbo wooden crochet hook inside, glued into a base of a heavy glass candle holder and a ton of red pony beads. The doll is still top heavy.

The tail is completely posable and is stuffed with three giant pipe cleaners, 1.25” in diameter, twined together to create one thick structure.

I do not know if I will be writing up the pattern I created to make this doll. Right now it exists solely in scribbled notes.

This is my first crochet project in over three years. Completed 2 May 2019 after taking 2 months off to write a very long story.
