2/1/16 - slight mod: instead of CO 112 and reduce to 110 stitches after the ribbing, I CO 108 and increased to 110 after the ribbing. Also trying out the cables without a cable needle, and I like it. Took a bit to get used to, but it’s less fiddly than the cable needle.

2/22/16 - had to set this aside to finish some other stuff. Finally finished the knitting last night and just need to add a few button eyes and should be ready to go in time for my son’s teacher’s half-birthday. :)
