5/2/14 - going to try to do this in the round because I hate sewing seams. ;)

5/8/14 - finished 3, halfway thru fourth one. In all cases, CO 42sts with size 6 (4mm) needles, then put stitches on size 4 (3.5mm) dpns. Followed pattern, even when putting in holes for ribbon/rope. After finishing 3” of 3x3 ribbing, increased to 48sts evenly (knit 7, M1; repeat around) and did stockinette stitch for 8 inches. Then, looking down the inside of the tube, grabbed the back of a stitch 5 down from the one on the needle, then knit the two of them together. Continued that around. Then just continued the pattern as written (except on rows 2 and 4, did knit all around instead of purl, and on row 6 did ssk around instead of p2tog).

Each wine cozy took about 85 yds of Berroco and 75yds of Vanna’s Choice yarn before adding any ropes/embellishments.
