07.08.14 The chart for this pattern is a little confusing, but that may be due to my inexperience reading crochet charts. I was able to figure out what to do from looking at pictures of the final product. I may or may not have done the decrease stitch correctly (reducing the 5 DCs into 1 stitch), but it looks nice as is. There were no instructions for it - just the chart. The first one is finished and is blocking. The Ecru thread is the same as in my Oval Pinapple Doily, but I added the Mint Green because I have a lot of green linens. I will do at least a set of 4, but I would prefer a set of 8 if I have the patience.

07.20.14 The gauge for the last two coasters has been much bigger than the first two. But it’s coasters, so who cares? You can’t tell unless they are next to each other. Whew, 4 done. That’s good for now.

05.17.15 I’ve gone back to this pattern to knit four more coasters in the same colors. I wanted to have a full set of 8. They need to be blocked, but I’m not in a rush since the other four are packed away.
