This thing is quite detailed!
It’s tricky to combine so many small parts. I had difficulty with the pieces twisting and distorting.

There must be a better way to do this.

1. Fewer pieces? Make the bottom, front, back & sides in one piece (sc in the back loop only at the edges). Handles: crochet directly onto the sides, or omit them. Wheels: do as bobble stitches when crocheting the bottom (can be the same colour as box) ; they won’t need to be sewn on! Or omit them. The top and the fire box: do in black? Flames: single layers. Hinges: could be done in one piece with the lid; or just embroider them on when attaching lids; or omit them.
2. Because I like sewing more than crochet, I might rather sew a dumpster fire, using felt.
3. Polymer clay might be a fun medium, too.
