This variation works in the round, instead of seaming up the sides, and is knit with a lighter weight yarn and smaller needle to accommodate wear in warmer climates. Pattern makes for a great, no-pressure way to learn and master the Kitchener stitch as a skill, which is used here to give the hat a seamless, cleaner finish.
