Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts use one of the motifs from Seraph sweater which is inspried by the highly decorated interior of Watts Chapel in Compton, Surrey. Worth a visit if you are in the area as it is very unexpected for a small rural village.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
A cosy pair of house socks in an easy 2 x 2 rib with cables running down the side of the leg. Great to knit in a semi solid or speckled hand dyed sock yarn held together with a Kid Silk Lace.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Mistake rib makes a squishy pair of woollen mittens. The rib will hug your hands and wrists whilst the rolled edges leave your fingers free.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I can imagine Charles Dickens’ Miss Havisham wearing these mittens. Sitting in her faded and tattered finery, brooding on her lost love and plotting her revenge.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The graphic patterning of this hat reminds us of the iconic silhouette of the Supersonic passenger jet Concorde. We have knitted it in two colours but you could use up scraps and knit your rows of Concordes in multiple colours.
